I only book cars relocations if a tank of fuel is supplied. On several occasions - and most recently last week I have been charged a re-fuelling fee by the rental company. In the current case - $216! This is not a one-off.

Issue was less with transfercar and more with the campervan hire company. Terrible communication, extremely delayed pick-up, failure to offer reduced excess on insurance despite requesting more than once then very unluckily having a windscreen crack which resulted in a $1000 excess which basically wiped out any point to doing a relocation.

Assistance required to complete relocation during flood events: Navigation, financial help with added fuel costs, extension on time allocated. All fine otherwise.
