You guys were great. I had issues with Jucy taking off money from my ferry vehicle ticket, and their fuel budget didn't come near to covering the full journey.

It does feel strange leaving with a vehicle with no paperwork/email then dropping the car off interstate and receiving no receipt or email confirmation of the transfer

Nope. Was a good ride. Only thing I would like is the company to ensure the vehicle has a full tank. I had to top it up with with another 15 litres of fuel.
