No. The staff member who assisted me at the Christchurch airport desk was very friendly and helpful. He was learning the ropes but handled himself well. I was very happy with the one way relocation desk I received.

I was told and it was clearly stated that I will get free tank of petrol but they charged me $223 just for patrol @$5 per litre

Yes, once I had booked a car the system wouldn't allow me to book another one for the same dates. This is frustrating as better offers can arise at any time. I would have been happy to lose my deposit for a better deal. Other than that it was excellent.
